About Us
Started in 1976, the Golden Gate Chapter of the National Safety Management Society (NSMS) has always been comprised of men and women who are seeking to enhance their safety careers using modern, state-of-the-art management techniques. Members get involved in dynamic meetings and creative and challenging seminars. Networking with one another, participants help each other out, look for ways to improve upon what they are doing, and establish a Chapter organizational environment “where everyone knows your name.” The membership of the Golden Gate Chapter of NSMS covers a wide range of safety and health professionals in private industry, government, insurance, and consulting organizations.
The chapter luncheon seminars are held at Skates on the Bay restaurant in the Berkeley Marina at 11:30 AM on the second Friday of January, April, July and October.
